The Village Nursery, located off the Reno Highway near Fallon Glass, will begin hosting weekly events for the artsy and crafty person within us all.
Yesterday, the first successful event was held, a wreath making class taught by Shirley Hiatt. Attendees made a Halloween wreath just in time for the season.
On October 10, at 10:00 a.m., Susan Ellis will be teaching “How to Put your Roses to Bed," a class that will teach attendees how to care for their roses at the end of the season, preparing them for next year.
The Village Nursery will follow all COVID guidelines, so class space is limited and anyone interested should call 775-867-GROW to sign-up for spots in the class.
Stay tuned to the art entertainment section of The Fallon Post for dates of future classes, and reviews of the scheduled events.
