Tony lived most of his life in Fallon until moving to Sacramento where he attended California State University. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and worked for Lucky Supermarkets and California State Automobile Association (AAA) selling insurance.
He returned to Fallon with his children where the family purchased a Sears Catalog franchise. The entire family worked in the family business. Tony was a beloved teacher at Churchill County School District where he taught for 20-years. Tony was active with his daughter, Kari, in local 4H as well as junior and high school rodeo events. He loved animals and owned many horses and cattle dogs.
Tony was firm but fair, had a wonderful sense of humor, and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone – most especially animals. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
A Celebration of Life will come at a later time to accommodate out of town family.
