Katara (D-744) is a year-old Shepherd/Lab mix who has been at the shelter since September. Her owner’s medical condition required her surrender.

We were told that she's people-friendly and good with cats.

If you think Katara would be a good fit in your household, visit the shelter at 1255 Airport Road and meet her nose to nose. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Or call 775-423-2282.
