Student Arrested at Middle School for Threatening Violence

The Churchill County School District takes any threats to students, staff, and schools seriously, whether or not these statements are made as a joke.

Churchill County School District investigated reports that a student made a threat of violence towards Churchill County Middle School. 

The District contacted the Fallon Police Department and a student has been arrested. Churchill County School District takes any threats to students, staff, and schools seriously, whether or not these statements are made as a joke. The safety and security of our students, staff, and schools will always be our highest priority. 

Churchill County School District will remain diligent, and work closely with law enforcement to thoroughly investigate any threats made towards our schools and will take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
