CCHS
The Military Student Committee, run by Heather Benjamin, held the second annual Veterans' Day BBQ. All CCHS current military and veteran families were invited to the event. Over 50 students, family members, and staff came to enjoy dinner as a thank-you for their service and sacrifice. The evening began with the NJROTC Color Guard presenting the colors, followed by Chase Johnson and his culinary students, who created and served a phenomenal BBQ.
CCMS
Veterans and active duty military members were invited to have coffee, juice, and doughnuts with their child at breakfast. Following breakfast, they accompanied their child to class and shared their military experience with the students.

Veterans and active-duty families were invited to help raise the flag and join the staff and students in a school-wide Pledge of Allegiance at the flagpole at the beginning of the school day.
