The Iris is a big show-off and the community can see these beautiful Lahontan Valley icons this week at the Churchill County Library.
Hurry in to see irises of a variety of shades and in different phases of bloom as they adorn the south window of the library until May 24th.
The Lahontan Garden Club has been showcasing beautiful, fragrant, irises at the Library for many years, according to Carol Lloyd, library executive director. The public is encouraged every year to display their irises in the annual non-competitive show.
