Jack Lee Veach, 72, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, November 17, 2022, in Reno, NV. His wife and family were by his side.
Jack was born on March 18, 1950, in Aurora, CO. During his youth, he moved frequently as his father was in the military. Jack was working in Gabbs, NV when he met his wife, Trudy, the love of his life in Fallon, NV in February of 1979. They married a few months later that June. They moved to Reno, NV in 1981.
Jack became a car salesman in 1984, where he remained at the top of his field for decades. His family and friends knew him as a kind, intelligent, funny, and gentle soul. He had a zest for life, an eye for adventure, a knack for writing, and loved a good joke. Jack was fond of hunting, fishing, and motorsports. He was strong in his faith. Jack will be remembered as a great friend, a loving husband, and father.
He is survived by his wife Trudy Veach, brothers Mark Veach, and Paul Veach, daughter Melanie Gallardo, daughter Monika Koshinski, son Jack Veach Jr. and his wife (Erika), son Aeden Veach, grandson Jakob Gallardo, and dog Asher.
He is preceded in death by his father Sam Veach, and Mother Barbara Veach.
Please join us in celebrating Jack’s life Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. at South Reno Baptist Church, 6780 South McCarran Blvd, Reno, NV 89509. After the service, there will be refreshments. At 1:30 p.m. we will head to Fallon for a burial and graveside service. All who knew and loved Jack are welcome.
