The first day of school for the 2022-23 school year is August 15, for 1st through 12th grade.
Pre-K and Kindergarten start school on August 22.
The week of August 15-19 will be used for individual Pre-K and Kindergarten students to meet their teachers and participate in screenings at the school. Teachers will be contacting each family directly to set up times.
Beginning this year, the district will have a modified 4-day week. Students and staff will have selected Fridays off. See graphic for dates. The school calendar is online at https://www.churchillcsd.com/en-US. Additionally, the district keeps a calendar on the website for all activities.
Start times for each school are located in the graphic on our back page.
Teacher assignments and class schedules for all grades will be available in the student and parent Infinite Campus Portal by the end of the day August 5th.
Anyone needing assistance accessing the portal can contact the district office through the [email protected] email address. It continues to be extremely important for parents and guardians to set up their IC portal accounts now and we are happy to help anyone get started.
School Supply lists are also on the district website – most all school supplies will be available at the Fallon Community Day on July 30th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rafter 3C Arena.
9th Grade and New Student Orientation will be held July 27th from 9 to 10 a.m. and July 28th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. All new students, of any grade level, are encouraged to attend this event on the day that works best. There will be a short presentation, a tour of the school, and Chromebook checkout.
More information regarding the High School Schedule and the new A/B block scheduling will be released soon.
Any family intending to use district transportation for the 2022-23 school year must submit a transportation application no later than July 29. Routes are being planned now and will be shared during the first week of August. Students in grades K-8 who live within city limits will be able to use bus stops at pre-selected sites but will still need to fill out an application for transportation.
