Local Nonprofit Hosts Teacher and Staff Appreciation Dinner

  Submitted by LEAD Green -- FALLON, Nevada – In an effort to recognize teachers and staff for their contributions to students and the greater Churchill County community, LEAD Green is hosting an appreciation dinner on Thursday, May 9, at the Fallon Convention Center. The event, open to all Churchill County School District and Oasis Academy employees, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner being served at 6 p.m. “We are who we because of our teachers and staff,” said LEAD Green President Mackenzie Cutler. “Teachers and staff are our coaches, role models and support systems. It is important to recognize all they do and show our appreciation.” LEAD Green is newly established Nevada 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating high school students within Churchill County through Leadership, Education, Awareness, and Development (LEAD). The organization has impacted over 120 local high school students from both CCHS and Oasis Academy through their annual leadership summits and scholarship program.
