Los Gallos – You Won’t Be Able to Walk Out (wheelbarrow please)

Los Gallos – You Won’t Be Able to Walk Out (wheelbarrow please)
It's a family affair at Los Gallos--homemade, and delicious

Author: Rachel Dahl

For those of us who’ve been around for a while, the building used to be the old Pizza Hut. After several iterations over the years, Fallon’s newest Mexican restaurant, Los Gallos, has landed in the prime restaurant location of 1770 W. Williams Avenue.

The restaurant is a family affair for Francisco Alaniz, with his son, daughter, and many other family members working to meet the needs of their early success. Serving traditional Mexican recipes in a comfortable open dining room, Francisco can hardly go wrong. Despite being consistently busy, a good sign for anyone trying a restaurant for the first time, Los Gallos provides top-notch service and can accommodate large groups, easily.

Everything on the menu is homemade, from the albondigas to the Chile Verde. Although the chile colorado is beyond compare, it wouldn’t hurt to try the ground beef enchiladas with mole sauce.

Francisco has also built an attractive bar space that anchors the room. Specialty cocktails to start the dining experience or accompany your meal are also on the menu.

Los Gallos is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
