Mendia Wood

Mendia F. Wood of Fallon, Nevada has passed from this world on December 1, 2021. Widow, Mother, Grandmother, and sister has left behind her children: Robert and wife Elizabeth Wood, Melissa and husband David Breault, Danyle and husband Patrick Roman. Her grandchildren included: Shannon, Robert, Damien, and Creed. Mendia's beloved siblings are: Barabra, Vivian, Luskey, Victor, and Warren.

Mendia was born May 1, 1951,in Bentonville Arkansas. Throughout her life, she met and married her husband  Earl T. Wood in Lubbock Texas. In their life adventures, Mendia found her way from Reese AFB Lubbock, Tx to Del Rio Tx, Okinawa, Japan, to Holloman AFB, New Mexico and finally settled in Del Rio, Tx until the passing of Earl.

Moving on from Del Rio, Mendia found her way to Centerview Mo., meeting and making new friends there, before finally settling her last days in Fallon, Nevada. Mendia was nothing less than a devoted wife, mother, sister, and dear friend to all who crossed her path. Mendia was an avid bowler always finding joy in the sport and friends made in that community. In Missouri, she enjoyed the company of the Knitting Club in Holden, Missouri.

In her last days, she moved to Fallon, Nevada to be with her dearest daughter, once again finding her love of bowling and making friends there. Mendia was a feisty spirit, one always to deliver the truth and aid to anyone dear to her. She will be sorely missed by one and all.
