The public is invited to attend the William N. Pennington Life Center’s Open House on Aug. 25 from 4-7 p.m. Meet the staff, mingle with friends, see what’s new and enjoy an ice cream sundae.

Churchill County assumed operations of the Life Center on July 1 and since then has hired back most of the former staff, extended the center’s hours of operation and introduced more activities. The Life Center is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 952 S. Maine Street next to the Churchill County Museum.

All are welcome to stop by on Wednesday and see all the additional offerings!
