Bruce K. Kent

On April 1, 2021 Bruce K. Kent unexpectedly passed away at his home in Stillwater, Nevada. He was born on May 26, 1945, and was raised and graduated in Fallon, Nevada. He attended one year of college at UNR and enlisted in the Army where he was stationed at Ft. Leonard.

On February 5, 1966 Bruce married the love of his life Jamie Bray. In their 55 years of marriage, they raised two daughters Staley and Tami on their family ranch. He was a cattle rancher and an avid hunter all his life. He especially loved chucker hunting with his many dogs.

Bruce is survived by his wife Jamie Kent, daughters Staley Kent and Tami Schultz (Damian); grandchildren, Tyler and Skyler Word and Eberle Schultz. He is preceded in death by his parents Nina and Hammy Kent and brother Gary Kent.

Services will be held at The Gardens Funeral Home, Saturday, April 10 at 11:00 A M.

Interment to follow at Churchill County Cemetery. A Gathering for family and friends will be held back at The Gardens. (Parking in field next to Funeral Home).

Donations may be made in memory of Bruce to Churchill County 4-H, 111 Sheckler Road or the Churchill Volunteer Fire Dept, 20 N Carson St. Fallon, NV 89406.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Highway Fallon, NV, 775-423-8928.

So sorry to hear of his death, Bruce and his father were outstanding men in the Stillwater area and I grew to respect their wisdom and knowledge. my prays go out to the family. Ron Anglin
