Obituary -- Christine Katherine Clark
Christine (Chris) Katherine Clark

With a Heavy Heart, we announce the passing of our Beautiful Momma Christine (Chris) Katherine Clark. (Maiden names Clifton / McClelland) on September 30, 2020.

Christine was born on December 7, 1952, in Martinez, California to Theresa Dolinski and Tex (Hurbert) Clifton. She grew up in the Bay Area and Fallon, Nevada raised by Mom Terry and Dad Ray McClelland. Chris married Fred Clark on May 1, 1970, and welcomed her first daughter Tammy Lynn on 11/6/70 and then her twin daughters Leanna Faye and Deanna Kaye 6/23/73.

Our Momma had many passions in her life such as running track in school, fixing things, and dealing cards at the Nugget & Bonanza in Fallon and Casinos in Reno, Nv. She moved to Hawaii with the love of her life and best friend Rod in the early 80s and then returned to Fallon in the early 90s to be closer to her girls, grandchildren, and her Mom. Christine had an infectious laugh and smile and will be greatly missed.

Chris is survived by her girls: Tammy Fernandez, Leanna (Lee) Monroe and Deanna (Dee) Douglas; Grandchildren: Savanna Fernandez, Nicolette Petersen, Hunter Fernandez, Cameron Matzen, Daniel Jr. Monroe, Natalia Fernandez, Victoria Fernandez, and Andrew Douglas; Siblings: Rita, Sharon, Diana, Pam and Kenny; and numerous Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Family, and Friends. She is Dancing and Singing in Heaven with her Best Friend-Rod, Mom-Terry, Dads’ Ray and Tex, Sisters- Wanda and Donna, Brothers- Little Ray, Stanley, and Kelly plus numerous family, friends, and pets.

Her ashes will be spread in Hawaii in late summer 2021 and hopefully, we will have a Celebration of Life on her birthday 12/7/21.  (more information to come)

With all our love until we see you again; your Beautiful Smile will be with us forever! Love you Momma.

She was a good woman and friend. I miss her. She funny and kind to all and made sure all stray cats were fed. RIP Chris.
