Viviane’s reviews — Churchill Arts Council

Viviane’s reviews — Churchill Arts Council
The Churchill Arts Council is located at the Oats Park

Museums of all sizes around the world are continuing to struggle from closures due to the pandemic, even as reopening slowly continues.

Many establishments started selling pieces to private collectors to make up for losses of donations and fees from attendants.

In that vein, garnering continuous support for local and large art exhibitions and museums is important. Earlier in the season, I recommended that the Churchill County Museum was a great place to start. If you have walked through the exhibits one too many times to get out of the house, have no fear. There are other places that need support too.

The Churchill Arts Council celebrates all mediums of art. The council has installed permanent and temporary exhibitions that include visual art and sculpture. Musicians and literary readings are available throughout the season as well.

Coming in November is the John Jorgensen Bluegrass Band, Saturday November 21, at 8 o’clock p.m.
