David Darren Cornell, born February 13, 1965, was called to heaven on April 23, 2020 at the age of 55.
He was enlisted in the Air Force for four years as a Law Enforcement Specialist. In 1988, he moved his family to Hawthorne, Nevada to continue his career in Law Enforcement, working for the Mineral County Sherriff’s Department. He retired from there as Under Sherriff in 2012.
He enjoyed doing “honey do’s” around the horse ranch and hanging out with his three grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Leanne; his daughter, Cristen (Jeff) Moosman; his grandchildren, Krista, JW, and Madison; his mom, Eva Kinsman; his sister, Donna (Terry) Gilstrap; his brothers, Devin (Laurie) Cornell, and Danny Cornell & girlfriend Johanna.
David was preceded in death by his father, Don Cornell and step father Ray Kinsman. He will be greatly missed.
