Dr. Summer Stephens, Churchill County School District superintendent said this afternoon that the district was able to serve 1,198 meals this first day of providing meals to district students.
Stephens reminds the community that meals are available at three locations in the city; Numa Elementary, Northside Early Learning Center, and the Churchill County High School. Meals are available to children ages 0 - 18 who are present at pickup, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until April 3rd.
There are also ten rural locations where children can pick up meals:
Remote Drop-offs for Rural Households--Drop will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the following stops:
Sand Cholla bus stop, base housing (no longer at Wildes/Pasture Road drop-off)
1775 Auction Road (no longer at Ready Mix, 1550 Auction Rd)
