Robert A. Parrish was born on November 19, 1940. He was raised in Fallon, Nevada and resided there most of his life.
After high school, he was drafted into the army where he worked as a radar control man in Germany. Following service to his country, Robert worked as a surveyor for NDOT until his retirement.
Fishing, hunting, and fast cars were his passions. As a very talented craftsman and mechanic, he was always tinkering on projects, even building his own home. Robert was a strong believer in God and attended two church services every Sunday. Later in life, he met and married his love, Patty, and gained three children, Marvin, Laura, and Mike. Robert was a wonderful father and was very involved in their lives. They had many adventures together; camping, fishing, hunting, and riding quads.
After a short illness Robert, surrounded by family, went home to be with Jesus his savior on December 28, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Thelma Parrish, twin sister Barbara, and wife, Patty. Robert is survived by three children: Marvin Reynolds, Laura Davis, and Mike Cate; his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Marsha Parrish; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; Scott, Mitch, Shelly, Frank, and many other great-nephews, nieces, and cousins.
