The CCHS Girls Basketball team put another one in the bag last week to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Carson Senators as the Churchill County Greenwave made off with a 56-32 win. They went on to a 43-41 defeat against Bishop Manogue.
The boys lost the championship in their pre-season tournament to Livermore. Coach Chelle Delager said, “Barry Mitchell threw down a monster dunk. I am very proud of their effort and look forward to a great season.” Calin Anderson and Trevor Hyde were named to the all-tourney team. The Greenwave plays against Hug at home on Friday, December 13.
The Girls' Varsity game starts at 5 p.m., and the Boy's Varsity game begins at 7:30 p.m.
