Veritas Preparatory School

Celebrating Friendsgiving.

The lead-up to Thanksgiving saw a host of activities and events at Veritas Preparatory School. The third through sixth-grade classes were visited by District Attorneys Chelsea Sanford and Lane Mills, where they were sworn in as jurors to reach an important verdict in the case of Goldilocks vs. The Three Bears. Several classes, including Ms. Emma’s K4 and Mrs. Cota’s first grade, celebrated Friendsgiving together. Students had the opportunity to focus on gratitude and the daily blessings we receive from God.

Students also enjoyed the First Veritas-Giving Field Day where they were able to spend their first day on the new sod lawn that was recently installed thanks to a generous donation from Peek Brothers Construction, LLC and the Peek family. Classes participated in friendly competition together while enjoying treats, music, and pleasant weather.

After several weeks bustling with activity, students and teachers were excited to take the Thanksgiving week off in order to spend important time with family and friends.
