Churchill County High School and Oasis Academy High School hosted a Stanford University recruiter on September 25 at CCHS. The 143 students who attended the presentation learned what grade point averages and ACT scores the university expects from its applicants and other Stanford admission requirements.
Stanford is now recruiting in rural school districts, and according to Dr. Sue Segura, CCHS School-to-Careers Coordinator, a student trip to the Stanford campus is planned for the spring.
