Over the past year, the Churchill County Sheriff's Office has been working on a new program that will soon take flight. To assist the sheriff's office in certain operations, they have purchased two drones and selected seven pilots for the team. These department members have had to take the FAA unmanned aircraft exam, an in-person exam, and complete an in-house flight school. Congratulations to these seven members for their hard work and dedication to the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office's newly implemented program.
