Obituary - James (Jim) Arthur Scolari

In Loving Memory

James (Jim) Arthur Scolari lost his battle with cancer on May 1, 2023, in bed at his home in Encino, CA. He was born November 22, 1962, in Oakland, CA. He was the grandson of Ted and Ethel Weaver, who were Fallon residents for more than 80 years. Jim attended school in Fallon from 1976 to 1980 and lettered in CCHS varsity sports, including football, basketball, and track. He graduated from Santa Clara University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Jim lived in the Los Angeles area for many years and was a union Property Craftsman in Hollywood for over 20 years, where he created set decorations for shows like Speed, House Arrest, ER, Malcolm in the Middle, and My So-Called Life. A talented photographer and writer, Jim always kept busy working freelance in Southern California, Ventura, and Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Cami, three children, Sam, twins Luke and Luci, and one recent grandchild, Penelope. His mother, Leigh Callahan, and brother, Rob Scolari, live in Las Vegas. He is sorely missed by his family and friends.

I knew Jim…played basketball with him at CCHS from 1976-1980…heck of a nice person and friend. A lot of good times during those years. RIP Jim
