NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Granite Springs Ditch and Pipeline Company has filed Application 92989 to appropriate water from Granite Springs Valley. The proposed point of diversion is within Pershing County and the proposed place of use for the application is within Churchill County. Copies of the Application and supporting map can be viewed and/or printed from: http://water.nv.gov.  

The Churchill County Board of Commissioners will hold a hearing on this matter on December 20, 2023, at approximately 1:15 PM in the Commission Chambers, 155 N. Taylor Street, Fallon, Nevada. At the conclusion of the meeting, the board may recommend a course of action to the State Engineer, but the recommendation is not binding on the State Engineer.

If you cannot attend the meeting, written comments may be submitted to the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, 155 N Taylor St, Suite 110, Fallon, NV 89406, before 4:00 p.m. on December 19, 2023.
