Obituary -- Adele Stella Olszewski Fritz Czichotzki
Adele Stella Olsewski-Fritz-Czichotzki

Adele Stella Olszewski -Fritz-Czichotzki passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 87.

Adele was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1935 to Frances and Jean Olszewski. Adele was the oldest of two children. After her mother sadly passed away in September 1950, the Olszewski family moved to Cape May, New Jersey in 1954, where Adele fell in love with the ocean.

Adele decided it was time for a change of scenery and had her job transfer her out west where she ended up in Fallon, Nevada. It was in Fallon where Adele spent most of her life after she met and married Bill Fritz in 1959. Adele and Bill had three children, Ken, Marty, and Laura Fritz. Unfortunately, Bill passed suddenly in October 1965.

Adele stayed in Fallon to raise her children, working as an Office Manager for the State of Nevada Welfare, where she worked for 31 years.

In January 1983, Adele married Wayne Czichotzki and became the stepmother of Beth and Mark. Adele and Wayne had 30 peaceful years together until Wayne passed away in January 2013.

After Wayne’s passing Adele remained in Fallon to stay close to her three kids. Adele was a longtime member of the Oasis Community Church.

Adele is preceded in death by her mother, father, Bill, and Wayne.

Adele is survived by her children, Ken, Marty, and Laura; her grandchildren Wyatt, Jesse, Valerie, Ryan, Dean, and Cassidy; her six great-grandchildren, half-brother Frank Olszewski and stepsister Regina Belsky.

A service will be held at Oasis Community Church on February 24 at 11 a.m. with a reception immediately following.

Arrangements are under The Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Highway, 775-423-8928.

We will certainly miss Adele but she is with our Lord and enjoying a wonderful reunion with her friends and family who went before her. See you again my friend.
