I had the distinct pleasure of calling Lisa my friend. She was a great co-worker at the Nevada Air Guard. Our hearts go out to her family in this time of sorrow. Rest in peace Lisa.

We worked together for a short time before I left Fallon back in 2010. Nonetheless we've always kept in touch, visiting their home in Fallon, and chatting fairly regularly on Facebook as I've continued my time in the military. I have continued talking with her son Steve Ezzell as he started his own military journey. It's sad to lose a friend, when that's all you have in these travels.

To Lisa's Family, My sincere condolences to you on the passing of Lisa. I knew her from her jr/sr high school days; always fun loving. She rode in the Titusville (PA) High School Homecoming Parade in her National Guard Uniform - can't remember the year. She was thrilled to do so -- she loved her school years. Many great memories of Lisa.

Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
