The Annual Jim Regan Memorial Golf Tournament is about a month away. The event is scheduled for September 17th at the Fallon Golf Course. Organizers say there is still room for 4-person scramble format teams to register to participate and plenty of time for sponsors to sign up. To play or become a sponsor go online to www.charitygolftoday.com/jimregan or contact Pam Moore at (775)666-0588 or (775)423-4092.

The tournament’s shotgun start kicks off on September 17 at 9 a.m. at the Fallon Golf Course. The entry includes breakfast, practice facility, loaded goodie bag, lunch, 18 holes with cart, snacks, and beverages. Pricing varies, see the website for entry costs and sponsorship levels.

The annual tournament, named after former County Commissioner Jim Regan, serves as a fundraiser for the Jim Regan Memorial Scholarship Fund which supports academic scholarships for general county employees or their children. Funds raised from the golf tournament will be allocated to scholarships awarded in spring 2023.

His mother, father, Karen and Trent were neighbors of ours in Tonopah, Nevada. We moved to Fallon first and then the Kroll's later moved there also. Mother and Wanda were good friends. My brother Michael and Trent were playmates in Tonopah. Mother and my three little children visited the family at their ranch in Fallon. My condolences to Frank's family. May you be comforted to know that I care and I pray you will be comforted by your memories of Frank. Sincerely,Comment publication date: 4/30/26, 11:51 AMComment source: Frank Robert Kroll
