The Churchill County High School Choir recently returned from Las Vegas where they participated in the Nevada Music Educator’s Association All-State Music Festival. For three days the choir practiced with their peers from across the state, participated in several performances, and delivered their final performance at the prestigious UNLV music hall.
During the celebration, the NMEA honored CCHS Choir director and thirty year teacher, Tom Fleming with the Lifetime Achievement award for his dedication and work each year to facilitating the try-outs and rehearsals for students in the north half of the state.

Comment text: A little disappointed in the parade and fireworks. With it being America's 250th Birthday, there should have been some more history, as in pioneers walking behind wagons.....etc. And as for fireworks, should have been more spectacular, like seeing hearts, and smiling faces and an American flag all dine in fire works.
