Bennett’s imaginative and realistic take on books hooked me at the start.
Descriptions of words and why it might not be necessary to have too many books stacked up to read because then it’s hard to thoroughly enjoy the one currently being read. This is a problem I’ve always had.
Bennett’s style is a little dreamy and the book and author references are many and varied. I was intrigued. And then I lost the thread.
But I kept reading hoping to pick it up again. And I never could. So I put it down and moved on to the next book in my stack waiting to be read.
This title is available in print at the library.
Carol is the Director of the Churchill County Library. She might come back and give this book another try.
