The Churchill County School District reported last week in their dispatch to parents regarding their recent listening session:
"We were so excited to launch not one, but TWO ThoughtExchanges out to our stakeholders (students, parents, staff & community members) regarding input on the school calendar. We were very happy with the responses we received and cannot get over the overwhelming participation we had. We will continue to use this platform for other important topics that we know many people want to weigh in on as it impacts learning and our schools.
We want to thank everyone who participated in one or both of these exchanges. The results of these ThoughtExchanges will help us understand your ideas and concerns with the school calendar regarding both the options we put forward.
The school board will be discussing all of the input collected in the exchanges at their meeting on Wednesday, February 9th at 5:30 pm at the District Office in the Pit.
