Resources for Community Members in Need – Epworth Methodist Church

Fallon Daily Bread provides free, fresh, hot meals every Monday and Thursday from 4:45-5:45 p.m. at the Wolf Center, 280 E. Stillwater. According to Pastor Dawn Blundell, “Usually, we serve nearly 100 meals each night, sometimes more.”

In addition to hot meals, Epworth also sponsors a Community Food Pantry and Golden Threads Clothing, all free, every Monday, from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Wolf Center. “There is no need to qualify or anything,” said Blundell.

“And we offer free showers and free laundry on a sign-up basis every Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. People can just walk in and sign in, or they can call ahead. But if they call ahead, it's really important that they show up or let us know if they can't make it so that others can take that spot,” she said.

She is most definitely a collaborator and is very well known throughout the state for her assistance as a Nevada SBDC business advisor, especially related to agriculture and local food entrepreneurship and systems. His mother, father, Karen and Trent were neighbors of ours in Tonopah, Nevada. We moved to Fallon first and then the Kroll's later moved there also. Mother and Wanda were good friends. My brother Michael and Trent were playmates in Tonopah. Mother and my three little children visited the family at their ranch in Fallon. My condolences to Frank's family. May you be comforted to know that I care and I pray you will be comforted by your memories of Frank. Sincerely,Comment publication date: 4/30/26, 11:51 AMComment source: Frank Robert Kroll
