April is Pinwheels Prevention of Child Abuse and Awareness month. Churchill County has partnered with several agencies to host free events within the community all April, with a kick-off event this Friday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. at Millenium Park.
Each event will provide raffle tickets for the final event to be held at Fallon Venturracci Gym 1pm to 4pm April 27th, flyer attached.
We are reaching out to gain donations for raffle prizes and to join us to hosts an activity table for our kids on the 27th of April noon to 4pm. The event will be free to the community to come and engage in hands on games, crafts, bike ride and educational opportunities to build family ties.
Please join us to help this April become a success in building family engagement and reduce child abuse nationally.
Please email or call Holly Meader at Churchill County Social Services to arrange your donation and reserve your activity table for the 27th, or obtain more information.
