Governor Steve Sisolak visited Fallon, where he toured the Fallon Tribal Health vaccination pod at Fox Peak Cinema and stopped by local businesses who were awarded small business PETS grants from the State.
“Today, I took a trip to Fallon to visit some local businesses and see the amazing work underway to ensure Nevadans have convenient access to the COVID-19 vaccine. Every vaccine gets us one step closer to our full economic reopening,” said Gov. Sisolak. “I want to thank organizers at the Fallon Tribal Health Center’s vaccination pod at Fox Peak Cinema and all of the small business owners in Fallon who opened up their doors to me today. We are well on our way to a full economic reopening and building back a better Nevada for all those who call our state home.”
While in Fallon, Governor Sisolak had the opportunity to visit the following small business PETS grant recipients: The Fallon Food Hub, the Wok, and Fallon Pet Oasis.
The State’s small business grant program provided funding to thousands of small businesses during the pandemic. Earlier this year, Governor signed legislation bringing the total funding for the program to more than $100 million, making it the largest small business program in Nevada state history.
