On April 17 the JustServe organization held the Community JustServe Day, giving local residents and organizations the opportunity to provide various acts of service to the community.
Care Net collected donations for the expecting mothers’ incentive program, pictured is Executive Director Monica Miller. A group of young men built Karma Boxes with supplies donated by local businesses and will be painted through the youth group at the Churchill Community Coalition. They will then be placed around the community to help those in need with sanitary and hygiene supplies. There was also a successful blood drive on April 14, sponsored by JustServe.
