A community tradition that defines the term, “Oasis of Nevada” returns this year for the 82nd time this weekend. The annual Churchill County Junior Livestock Show will be held April 22-24 at the Churchill County Fairgrounds and features 4-H and FFA students along with their project animals in the original “project-based learning” environment.
Animals this year include poultry, rabbit, goat, swine, sheep, and beef with students demonstrating showmanship along with the breeding stock classes.
The market animals will be weighed Friday, along with the breeding show, and the sale will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday.
