Sara Michelle Jones was remanded to custody with a $50,000 cash-only bail. According to Churchill County Court Services, Jones failed to meet her release conditions after failing to appear for three random drug tests and to call in per her release agreement. Previously, Jones missed 11 random drug tests. Court Services reported Jones's non-compliance, which requires that she be returned to custody. Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Priscilla Baker stated that Jones repeatedly fails to comply. Jones was charged after allegedly stealing from people for whom she cleaned homes. Jones said that the incident in December, which brought her to where she is, has changed her life, and she does not believe that she missed tests as the allegations state.
