Although it may not be the closets burger to Fallon, the Awful Awful is a burger known and loved by all Nevadans.
Last week several Fallonites made the trek to Reno for their last Awful Awful because the owner has announced the closure of the Little Nugget Casino at the end of this month.
This is a rare time in a critic's life to suggest something as it becomes unavailable, but the Awful Awful is a Nevadan tradition, and a symbol of this state that will live forever. To keep the memory alive, let's throw a burger on the grill in honor of the Awful Awful, and remember the great times with friends you’ve had at the Little Nugget Casino.
