About our Staff -- Publisher, Rachel Dahl

Rachel Dahl is a 1987 grad of Churchill County High School and received her BA from the University of Nevada on the 12-year plan. She continued on, receiving her MA in Political Science after a quick eight years. She has served the local Fallon community as a city councilwoman and as the director of economic development. She has taught high school and middle school English and lived to tell about it, as well as Core Humanities at the University of Nevada, and Political Science at WNC. She is the mother of two adult children: a rugby-playing neuroscientist and a truck-driving oil-hauler, as well as a 17-year old basketball-playing high school daughter.  The truck driver and his sweet wife Alicia have made Rachel a grandmother to three-year old Rhett Parsons.
