School Board Meets Tonight at 5:00 p.m

The Churchill County School Board meets Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the district offices at the Old High School, 690 S. Maine Street.
In addition to their regularly scheduled business, the board will discuss approving a new College & Career Ready (CCR) High School Diploma. They will also review modifications to high school graduation requirements, be provided the latest student enrollment data, and receive a report on violent acts for the past year.
Kathryn Whitaker serves this year as President of the board, along side Matt Hyde and Carmen Schank who were recently re-elected, Phil Pinder, and Tricia Strasdin. Amber Getto and Fred Buckmaster are newly elected members to the board.

Comment text: We called the cops on this kid SEVERAL times when he was not even a teenager. The Churchill sheriff kept letting him off. I remember telling him that if he didn’t hold him accountable then, he’d wind up in prison. I was right
