Back Roads Vintage Market Set for this Weekend

Back Roads Vintage Market Set for this Weekend

Back Roads Vintage Market will be in Fallon, on May 20th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on May 21st from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the 3C Arena, 227 Sheckler Road. There will be loads of super cute junk, repurposed finds, vintage décor, and much more.

This year's spring market will be at a new, huge, indoor location. The founder of Back Roads Vintage Market, Jenny Young, said, "We are thrilled to be hosting our spring market at the 3C Arena, and are so excited we will not have to stress about the weather. I know our vendors are excited about it and appreciate us finding such a beautiful indoor location, so they will no longer have to worry about what will happen to their booths if it rains or if the wind picks up.”

Aside from ensuring attendees have a good time and do not leave empty-handed, taking care of their vendors is a priority for Jenny and her husband Mitch. “We know how much time and dedication each of our vendors put into their businesses, and it is nice to be able to give them reassurances we have not been able to give them in the past,” said Young. The indoor location will not only protect the booths from any unexpected Nevada weather but the building will also be locked up at night so vendors will not have to worry about their booths. “In the past, we always worked with local law enforcement to have extra patrolling around our market location, but it is one less thing we will have to stress about with the new indoor location.”

This year, Jenny and Mitch have welcomed more vendors than ever before. With over 70 amazing vendor booths, the hope is that every attendee will discover some great finds to take home. “We are welcoming back vendors who have been with us since the beginning, but we have also had more new vendors than we have had in the past, which is exciting,” Young said. Jenny and Mitch have a common goal - to have something for everyone at all their markets. "We never want to fit into one box or one particular niche. We want everyone to be able to come to our market and find something they have been searching for, or even something unexpected." Jenny and Mitch are excellent at bringing together businesses that sell hard-to-find treasures and items different from what people could find anywhere, which makes Back Roads Vintage Market a fun event to attend every spring and fall. Attendees never know what they are going to find. This weekend will prove to be no different. “We are super excited to welcome our new vendors to Fallon and introduce them and their businesses to our attendees.”

If you are interested in repurposed, antique, rustic, farmhouse, and vintage finds, Back Roads Vintage Market is the place to be this weekend. “Every spring and fall, Mitch and I are always blown away by what our vendors bring out to the market. However, they have outdone themselves and are truly bringing out their best this weekend,” Young said. There will be loads of super cute junk, repurposed finds, jewelry, apparel, live music, the Twisted Branch bar, Telegraph Coffee, and food vendors.

Bring out your family and friends to enjoy a fun day of shopping. There will be free parking, complimentary s’more kits (while supplies last), and complimentary cookies for the first 50 people in line each day. Admission is $10 on Friday for early-bird shopping and $5 at the gate on Saturday. Kids 12 and under are free.
